Getting there
Take Route 3 to km 2,074, then gravel Provincial Route 49 for about 50 km to the visitor area. It's about 230 km from Puerto San Julián and 220 km from Caleta Olivia. Fill up beforehand: the province recommends Fitz Roy (coming from the north) or Tres Cerros (from the south). After heavy rain the gravel gets tricky for low-clearance cars.
